Disabled Refuge
An EVC or Disabled Refuge System is a “System that allows voice communication in either direction between a central control point and a number of other points throughout a building or building complex, particularly in a fire.”
Even in a non-emergency situation such as during a scheduled fire drill, those who are unable to exit a building via the stairs need to be kept informed of what is happening.
New building regulations mean that any commercial building has to have a disabled refuge system installed, regardless of the age of the actual structure all premises are now required to be fully compliant with the current building regulations. As the installation of disabled refuge systems is now a legal requirement of any commercial building, the need to source the correct product quickly and at a competitive price is vitally important to ensuring that your project does not experience any unnecessary delays.

Nurse Call Systems
What are nurse call systems?
A functioning nurse call system is a lifeline between patient and medical staff. Visitors can use the nurse call system on the patient’s behalf, as well. Modern nurse call systems can have many different options and features for both patients and staff.
We install and maintain nurse call systems specific to the needs of your environment. Whether you have a care home, assisted living property or deliver services in a large healthcare trust we have a solution to suit your staff and service users.
We can provide the following types of nurse call systems:
- Conventional– Allowing residents to call staff through hardwired call buttons. The call method could be pull cords or push buttons.
- Wireless – Offers all the functions of a conventional system but with no wiring. Quick and easy to install with minimal disruption. This system is ideal for premises where closing an area of the building for a length of time is not practical.
- Addressable– Designed specifically for your environment. Settings can be unique to the requirements of your end users.
- Panic Alarm– Allowing staff to protect residents and themselves and sound the alarm in an emergency. This solution can communicate to an off-site alarm monitoring station if required.
